My first time wearing a Japanese Kimono

My first time wearing a Japanese Kimono

I remember how excited I became when I first saw a Japanese kimono in real life! Those lively colors and patterns. It seemed so exotic already on pictures.

I was really curious how it feels wearing one, and also walking on the streets with it.

This was our third time and Japan, and I decided that right time came. Of course I was wondering how Japanese people will react on foreigners wearing their traditional kimono.

8 Things You Didn’t Know About Australia

8 Things You Didn’t Know About Australia

Australia, a country far away with cool people who likes to surf, listening to good music, and write them…. kangaroos jumping through the road, and some animal called wombat is living there too. Opera house and some other interesting buildings in the city called Sydney, which is not the capital. Yes, so, that’s how I’ve seen Australia from Hungary.

It’s always different when you see something in real life. After Japan, it felt like some kind of cultural shock, especially Cairns, where our flight landed from Tokyo. They were questioning us, and examined our luggages, as they were suspicious about that the time we applied for the visa was just days before our flight, plus this extensive traveling didn’t seem right for them. So it does for us. By the way, on 13th April, we going to celebrate a 1 year travel anniversary, more or less with constant traveling together. Everything started at the San Francisco airport where we were waiting for our flight to Bangkok, first trip abroad together.

Top 10 Japanese Foods You Must Try

The Japanese food is another reason, that Tokyo is one of the best city of the world. I experienced that strange thing, that I didn’t find bad food there. Of course it’s not a problem, but how it can be?

Japan is famous of its focus on details, as well the on the quality. You go to one of the food court of a mall, and you have the best food of your life. I didn’t have this experience so far too many times…but finally here we go.

I already mentioned that there are tons of interesting or at first sight weird places to eat, but I encourage everyone to experience more and more places, you can’t go too wrong with that. Don’t forget the size doesn’t matter if we talk about Japanese eateries.

Walking with closed eyes on the street avoiding to see any of those tempting advertisement about spending the long weekend in Paris. Deleting all the friends on Facebook, who’s laying at the beach at the moment?

The answer: NO, not at all, do the opposite!

Whatever you want to reach, you need to pay attention to it. Start to train your conscious, that You gonna travel! Because first You need to believe in it!

I remember, a couple of years ago I said to someone that I will teach yoga one day in Thailand at the beach in a nice open bungalow. What was the reaction? Laugh…and of course, I got uncertain about what I just said. But it wasn’t a joke. Today, I can certainly say, with a small amount of organizing I know I could do it. And that feeling is the best one on the world. I know when we want to reach something, we start to work for it, believe in it, it needs to be a success. But I didn’t believe in this for so long!

Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai

We were already planning from the beginning to go to the north of Thailand. Of course we also heard from a lot of people, that it’s amazing, especially if someone likes nature. In the last years, i guess i became really sensitive to the nature around me. I see a nice flower, color, hill, mountain, river or any beautiful thing and it imbues my soul immediately, sometimes even too much, so it needs to leave through my eyes :).

I had the feeling, that they took out all the good things from Bangkok: big city atmosphere, lot of restaurants, coffee shops, public transport, culture; they surrounded with lot of green, national parks, mountains, and that’s how Chiang Mai was born.

We spent two weeks here, and i bet i don’t even need to say, in the end it was really hard to leave, also because it was the end of our amazing 5 weeks long supertrip in Thailand.

How to have fun in Chiang Mai?

Lot of national parks are located around the city as i mentioned before. You can go for a hike, or even use the zipline in the forest like a Tarzan. We actually didn’t try this one.
