8 Things You Didn’t Know About Australia

8 Things You Didn’t Know About Australia

Australia, a country far away with cool people who likes to surf, listening to good music, and write them…. kangaroos jumping through the road, and some animal called wombat is living there too. Opera house and some other interesting buildings in the city called Sydney, which is not the capital. Yes, so, that’s how I’ve seen Australia from Hungary.

It’s always different when you see something in real life. After Japan, it felt like some kind of cultural shock, especially Cairns, where our flight landed from Tokyo. They were questioning us, and examined our luggages, as they were suspicious about that the time we applied for the visa was just days before our flight, plus this extensive traveling didn’t seem right for them. So it does for us. By the way, on 13th April, we going to celebrate a 1 year travel anniversary, more or less with constant traveling together. Everything started at the San Francisco airport where we were waiting for our flight to Bangkok, first trip abroad together.

Top 10 Japanese Foods You Must Try

Top 10 Japanese Foods You Must Try

The Japanese food is another reason, that Tokyo is one of the best city of the world. I experienced that strange thing, that I didn’t find bad food there. Of course it’s not a problem, but how it can be?

Japan is famous of its focus on details, as well the on the quality. You go to one of the food court of a mall, and you have the best food of your life. I didn’t have this experience so far too many times…but finally here we go.

I already mentioned that there are tons of interesting or at first sight weird places to eat, but I encourage everyone to experience more and more places, you can’t go too wrong with that. Don’t forget the size doesn’t matter if we talk about Japanese eateries.

We ate Tokyo! Let’s see what were on the menu!

Tokyo Neighborhood Guide – Part 2.

In real time we already left Japan, but I’m still under its impression. Let’s continue the guide about the neighborhoods, then later I can write you about my favorite topic: food.

4. Roppongi

If you prefer more lively places, come to Roppongi. You can meet here a lot of foreigners, the bars are next to each other, and more likely you’ll find some clubs too.

Within some walk, you can reach Tokyo Tower, at night with the brick colored light it has a very impressive look.

Tokyo Neighborhood Guide – Part 1.

Tokyo Neighborhood Guide – Part 1.

You can ask me which areas are the best to go in Tokyo, I would immediately tell at least 5 of them. As I mentioned in the last post Tokyo doesn’t have an actual center, every neighborhood has its own characteristic. Let’s see what are those, illustrated with some pictures!

1. Shibuya

Pulsing energy, colors, neon advertisements, hipster coffee places, shopping and crowd. These are the words come to my mind the first thinking of Shibuya. In one of the crossing, there are usually 2000 people passing by next to you during the green light. That’s something you should experience. Sometimes I just like to walk around these streets, listening to the noises, passing in front of the tons of restaurants and feel the vibration in the air around me.

10 surprising things in Tokyo

10 surprising things in Tokyo

When you start to talk about Japan, you’re afraid that you can’t finish it, it’s just too much to talk about it. We are here for 3 weeks now, and already on the first three days we experienced so much, that it’s hard to tell all of them.

I got what I asked for: culture shock, and some winter time (the last one is not my favorite, but anyway, soon we’ll travel to the summer, it’s all about harmony).

Tokyo is inspiring, every area has its own special vibe. Here you can’t find an actual city center, wherever you are, you can feel like you’re in the middle of something.
